Hi, I'm new here and in addition to posting a hello thread in the appropriate place, I figured I'd hit the ground running and ask a question here as well. Do any of you geocache? If you haven't heard of it, basically people hide boxes in the woods or, well anywhere really, publish the coordinates online at any number of listing sites (though there is one main one, there are other smaller ones) and you use a GPS to find them. The gist of it is that once you find it, you sign the log book, and optionally take an item and leave one of equal or greater value. It's meant to be extremely family friendly, my 4 year old daughter loves it. I am asking this here because I have heard that some church groups have done it. There is even one that I found which a church gave permission for one to be placed on their property. Just wondering if anyone around these parts participates in the hobby.
