In other words, is it only the name of Jesus that casts out devils and makes the devil flee? I know the Bible says this, but I'm also wondering if there are any personal testimonies of this. Why are there so many conflicting religions in the first place, with different saviors, etc? I know that some Muslims are just as convicted in faith, and I'm just wondering if there is tangible proof that the name of Jesus is the only name that makes the demons shudder.

The Jews thought Jesus was driving out demons by the power of Satan. Note His question to them: they drove out demons before Jesus came. (Matt. 12:27).

As far as different religions: God's greatest obstacle in communicating with us, is our own inability to hear Him properly. Psychology proves that anything we see or hear, we only see or hear part of it, and then we fill in the gaps with our own thoughts. Here's a nice power point presentation on the research: Perception Ppt Presentation Different religions are just mistaken perceptions of what God is trying to say. That's why you need to trust Jesus, since He is the perfect image of the Father, and you need to study the Word to guide you. The more you look at something carefully, the more likely you are to get it right.
