It was in kindergarden
I'm deaf on one ear, so if a room is noisy, I can't hear poeple clearly. We were about to eat, and sitting around a table with candles on it. I didn't hear what the girl on the other side of the table said, so I leaned over the table to hear better... my hair fell into the candle and caught fire...
(and trust me, it catches fire very fast...)
luckily one of the adults there saw it and put it out at once. - It did burn my ear and scalp sligthtly thougu... but I kept most of my hair

LOL ! i have one of the funniest 'playiing with fire stories'
here goes:
it was near christmas, or guy fawks night, and me and martin had been playing with sparklers.
so this happened a few days later:
me and martin( win) didnt attend primary until we were 5 , i think.
So my parents, at the time, owned and ran a family run B&B and on this day, me and martin were sitting on the counter next to the cooker.
Martin remembered the sparklers and put the cord of his trousers on the gas flame when mum was at the sink ( like 1 foot away) and he said
" sparklers!!!!"
mum , turned a round and wot a shock, she lifted him over to the sink and put it under the water.
so mum told him to go and tell dad wot he had done, and martin went to bedroom 5, but my dad was busy painting the room, and he said well done
myabe it was a kind of 'had-to-be-there' kind of moment - but it really was H.I.L.A.R.I.O.U.S. and i think its awsome i still remember it
