Does anyone else kind of have trouble entering a conversation. I mean I find it hard to find people I can relate to but when I do I can almost never talk to them. Meh I dunno.

Of course. There are countless numbers of people suffering this problem. Many (not all) introverts suffer from this.

Well I feel as though I might be an introvert. Not sure though.

Yes, I have trouble with this, too. I am an introvert and have trouble joining in conversations sometimes. It is the small talk that gets me. I am a teacher and have no trouble at all teaching my students or talking with their parents. I have no trouble joining conversations with the people in my family or my church family. It is all other groups of people that give me trouble. I just go blank and have no clue what to say. I guess I am afraid of saying the wrong thing or something that sounds stupid. I just deal with it the best I can. People who know me understand this about me, people who don't know me often think I am stuck up. What can I do? I guess that is why I like chat forums. I have time to think about what I am going to say.

Yeah I like forums too for that reason. I kind of find it hard to get into conversations with most people though even my family.

I don't even want to talk about it. lol The early years of life were agonizing. Then, when my seeing, smelling and hearing senses started to diminish with age I began to figure it out. There were a lot of other issues I had and I thought for years that I was an introvert, shy...all the good stuff that makes one wonder. My youngest daughter is the same way and I learned from my experiences not to "push" her into the world of being normal.

You might want to check out HSP (highly sensitive person).

I'm an Artisan Composer,

ISFP

I too have trouble with communication and conversation.

"Composers are just as plentiful as the other Artisans, say nine or ten per cent of the population, but in general they are very difficult to observe and thus greatly misunderstood. Very likely the difficulty comes from their tendency not to express themselves verbally, but through their works of art. Composers are usually not interested in developing ability in public speaking, or even in the art of conversation; they prefer to feel the pulse of life by touch, in the muscles, in the eyes, in the ears, on the tongue. Make no mistake, Composers are just as interested as other types in sharing their view of the world, and if they find a medium of non-verbal communication-some art form-then they will express their character quite eloquently. If not, they simply remain unknown, their quietness leaving their character all but invisible."
