If I believe baptism is a part of salvation..and can post in the forums my beliefs but for example, get warned in the chat room not to share with others what I believe because it is "false" doctrine how does that make sense?

I know of some people who post their belief (same as mine about salvation) in the forums and do not get banned but when they go into the chat rooms they are warned or kicked.

I'm not trying to be rebellious or disrespectful but I just don't get it...

Yes, I tried to edit my post but I was too late. By chat room I mean, bible study room..lounge..etc. But I know people who go in there and get banned for saying baptism is part of salvation. Yet can post it in the forums.

hiya, JMO. :)

never live chatted, myself, but a heads up?
not supposed to discuss the banning of a member.
however a member's banning may be perceived by us,
only the mods and admins may know the reason.

i think the PTB here are just, but they have a huge job in trying
to watch over so many of us 24/7, you know?

we don't really know what may happen behind the scenes. :)

Not supposed to discuss the banning of a member even by the member themselves?
Interesting, so there is no way for them to state their case then huh?

That does not sound quite right for some reason...

technically, one can't discuss one's own banning here after one has been banned. ;)

i believe in most cases warnings are issued...but out of courtesy
to the individual, it's done privately.

Probably better to message an admin privately than to make a thread. Mostly you'll only receive speculation and not answers here.

Who needs live chat when you can read lips?
He says Booo-yah. It's a show called community on public television. Episode 110 if you want to check.
Just in case someone thought I was trying to pull a fast one on CC!

Haven't seen that show in awhile. It seemed like it was going downhill right around the time I tuned out.

It doesn't make sense, which leads me to believe there's more to the story than this. If a moderator or administrator warned you, it would be better to ask them personally for clarification.

If it was just a standard user that didn't agree with you...

as psychomom stated, we are not to discuss the banning of other members. I've been warned about it a couple of times when I questioned someone's ban. The mods don't like us disputing why they ban someone. Many times it's because they know something we dont.. as for why some people get banned for posting their beliefs, and other's dont, I have no idea. I DO know that it would be wise to stop questioning a person's ban. :)

it's sad that in mexico the roman rcc authorities did not ban 2 evangelists.
they had them shot. shot dead. by the controlled and owned (roman) sheriff. (why? criminal? see below)
for the catholics, banning(everywhere they exist, they ban all truth seekers and preachers of the true gospel) is small potatoes, routine. murder is also; standard, routine, common(by the hierarchy).

it has been the same in other countries, frequently, ever since that heresy started (see foxes book of martyrs, and 10,000 other witnesses of truth, plus more), (VOM, see below)(voice of the martyrs)....

as well as witnessed in union with Spirit of Yahweh-
(true, rare, but the only totally reliable witness also ! remember most of the world willingly serves demons, according to scripture and specifically Revelation concerning these days we live in).
oh, they never grasp this - they cannot. Yahweh has given them over to their delusion, to believe their own lies.

some number of months ago, 2 evangelists (TRUE CHRISTIANS, NOT RCC HERETICS) in a small town
were preaching against alcohol abuse by the residents of the town, part and parcel with the true gospel of jesus for the salvation of the people,
and (since the roman authorities got much revenue from both the alcohol sales and the sin) the rcc priest (with higher approval, err... lower!) told the sheriff (who was owned lock stock and barrel) to shoot the two evangelists, so he did - he shot them dead.

I was with their "head pastor"(for want of a better description) at the time, and the wanton murder of the evangelists, martyrs honored by Yahweh at His Throne, caused quite a bit of dismay to congregation and family. (since the roman authorities OWNED the town and all of it's legal and police , nothing was expected to be done about it- they own the media also, so anything that actually made it to the news was controlled and false, as usual and as expected from a group directly opposed to Jesus and opposed to Truth..,.,). .... the voice of the martyrs is one of the only world wide groups that report this and other frequent (weekly) incidents like this honestly. they also will not publish details that might result in the execution of more believers, evangelists, reporters and legal authorities; even in "democratic" countries (as if ..... "so-called".... )....

Corrie Ten Boom was reporting the slaughter of entire congregations and towns from wwII through the 1980's, first hand knowledge. She came to the untied states and warned many congregations here. A few listen. Most do not ever.

It's only the ones who go on telling everyone else they are not Christians, or they can't be saved if they are not baptized. Those are the ones that usually get banned. The one who assumes that because they don't believe the way they do, they must not be Christian. Furthermore, how do you know other people who get banned for stuff like that, do you have like a special set of blogs or circle of friends that all hold to this point, where you discuss banning?

I think it is pretty much standard procedure in any big forum that you don't talk about members that have been banned or the reasons why. I know there are rules here, and saying people aren't saved because they don't believe you particular dogma is probably against the rules.

My thought is to let it go, and if it was a warning, take it to heart. The mods have a huge job to do here, and they do a great job!

Its because people fear what they dont understand, and fear makes people act badly.

I suspect you are not simply saying' "I see things this way, and here is why." Is there any chance that you are, possibly, stating your beliefs as though God, Himself, gave you the straight skinny? I only ask, because it is a VERY rare thing to see someone on here merely state that they happen to believe something, without them also making sure everyone knows they are positive theirs is the only possible view worth entertaining. Sometimes, if the powers that control the "buttons" on any forum feel you are a bit too far out there, you can bet they will flex those powers.

Remember we are just imperfect "people", dealing with other imperfect "people."
