I want to play the floor is lava

Im sure I could make my own version if I cut up carpet squares or something.
Have you seen the show The Floor is Lava, on Netflix? My kids love it. Maybe you could get on the show. 😁

The absolute best board game of my youth was tree house construction. As we grew older, the tree house became a deer stand or a duck blind.

Does billiards count as a board game or darts.

I could not figure out what the difference is between snooker, pool or billiards they all look the same to me.

am considering floor is lava as a party game using my bean bags and cushions

I did do slime but children quickly tired of making their slime and said it was just easier (and cheaper) to buy it ready made from the shop cos of the mess it makes when you mix it together, they didnt like cleaning it up.

Its why people usually dont bother baking biscuits etc just all the time and effort making it, getting all the ingredients and having to clean up afterwards when can just buy them ready made from the shop.

like a lot of things in life its not worth making your own things anymore when its more effort for little reward. I dont think people even bother sewing you never really see patterns in magazines cos its more expensive to make your own now but theres still cooking recipes, at least its still somewhat cheaper to cook your own food (if you have an oven or stove!) though there will probably come a day when ppl just wont bother.

anyway...I have success with knucklebones though that is an easy game to play and teach ..all you need are five knucklebones.

I now have twister at home, bought it for a party

At school library I introduced chess but the principal didnt like it in the library and banned it. I cant believe I got fired for having fun in the library but thats what it amounted to.

She did turn a blind eye to all the video games though. I was like, you allow video games on devices but dont allow real board games like chess?! Of course I couldnt say anythng, she was the principal, she got to to do what she liked. :-(
