Also, as we can see from those clips above and from your own memories, this event wasn't for the faint hearted and you had to be physically strong in order to win the race and get the prize (some gadget).
You had to be fit in running and weight lifting in order to successfully push people around.
Me, being on the short side (5'11) had to do some massive preparations at the gym for this event so a tall 6" guy wouldn't overrun me and i had to compensate with my training.

Ha, if that is short, what do you consider tall? .

Some of the gifs and vids remind me of the Christmas cabbage patch dolls' craze of many moons ago .:oops::censored::giggle:

Basketball player size. He would clearly have an advantage here. His hands are longer, to grab the item quicker from me and his steps cover more ground than me.
Not to mention that he's bigger and would run me over.

This is where Kung Cart comes in handy. It is a must to learn the ancient art of shopping and also to employ modern technology.

When you can take the gift from my hand, gifthopper, time for you to shop.

Black Friday isn't what it used to be. For some stores it's a year round event of mediocre sale prices. Wal*Mart already had a Black Friday sale on 10 Nov. I'm sure they'll have a few more where they try to get rid of junk from their inventory.
I found some 9volt alkaline batteries for $1 each for my smoke detectors, so I'm a happy camper. All set for Christmas now.

Kung Kart sounds too much like exercise. That is against my religion. Many Middle Eastern practices are against my religion in different ways, but exercise is a major transgression of my faith.

I will have to be content to let the insanely good deals on stuff I don't need pass me by, and instead pay the reasonable price I can find online for only the stuff I need.

My smoke detector started chirping at me a few weeks back, so I reported it to my building office manager,
and they sent a couple of guys in and replaced it for me (they said it it is their responsibility). They changed
the whole unit! And also said it was 13.5 years old. LOL. When I spoke to my sister about it (we talk about
everything
.:D) she said they need to be replaced every ten years...

Hey Zander,

I forgot to get a picture of it, but found a shirt made from my camo. I gave him the first bag I ever made of it. It's a lightweight gear bag that's modular for attaching to the belt, a backpack or the built in handle for tactical grocery shopping.

Best thing I've found this year:

https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Charger-Connector-Upgraded-Compatible/dp/B0CKRJMW9L/

Small charger that can hold onto your phone's butt, so you can use it while it's recharging. This is actually a next-gen from what I bought a couple years ago - more capacity, digital readout.

No they did not pay me to say that. But I'm a big fan of these little dudes.
This is actually pretty nice and i can definitely use it in the summer. Right now i have wireless and wired chargers at home, at work or in the car. But when you're in the beach for hours listening to music, this thing is very handy.
Thanks! Useful gadget.

This thing has been a nice addition to my gadget list.
I use it with this other boom-box gadget, 20 hours per charge.
I just wanted to say thank you.
