So I heard of a story when listening to the radio about a wife who hated that her husband would leave coffee mugs everywhere around the house... So she prayed every time she saw one that her husband would stop doing that... After a while God put it on her heart to just pray and bless her husband every time she saw one of his coffee mugs and after a while his habit started to decrease and more would land in the dishwahser... Then she decided that she would pray and bless her husband every time she saw a coffee mug... So no anywhere she goes, she is always thinking about her husband and blessing him...

I thought that this was the coolest thing in the world... So I started doing it for my sister... I share a bathroom with her and everytime I go to take a bath (YES I TAKE BATHS WANT TO FIGHT?)
Any time I would take a bath I would have to pick up 2 scrunchy things and like 5 acne pads that she left in the bath tub... I used to pray about God fixing this and making my life easier, but now I am starting to pray for everything she touches to be amazing, and for her life to show the glory of God... And you know what... God has changed my heart and made me glad I get to see that mess... because every time I do, I know my sister is going to have a better day than if she would have cleaned that bathtub :)

I just thought I should share that wisdom because some people could really use it... Like moms who hate that everytime they turn around their child has made another mess, Or dads who hate that they can never find the correct tool because their teenager misplaced it... Or brothers who "borrow" your skateboard because his is broken... Just giving examples that I am definitely not guilty of :rolleyes:

:) This is amazingly loving, someone else would say it is stupid not to show love but to get into some kind of strife, you are in your garden with the spiritual fruits growing, You will make a great husband and DAd. My daughter does that too,,, but as a mom I don't like it so I tell her something else,,lol :) Prayer does work though. TY for sharing

This is really amazing and inspirational - - I'm still gonna make my kids pick up after themselves, though.
