The full name of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer is The Book of Common Prayer and
Administration of the Sacraments and other Rites and Ceremonies of the Church, according
to the use of the Church of England, Together with the Psalter or Psalms of David, pointed as
they are to be Sung or said in churches: And the Form and Manner of Making, ordaining, and
Consecrating of Bishops, Priests, and Deacons.
You can read all about it here (<= link :)).

The Book of Common Prayer has good intentions. The idea is that the fundamental Christian doctrines will covered throughout the year. It is obviously biased toward Anglican doctrines. Personally, I attended (not by choice) an Anglican church for 3 years. The only impact was to put me off church for years. Books don't save people; knowing Jesus is eternal life.
