I just don't think I would get the bunnies. Even if the bulldog can't get to them, rabbits can be frightened enough to die if the dog attempts to get at them.

My wife got the kids all excited about getting bunnies a couple of years ago. They all had these grand delusions that they were going to hop around the house and be great pets. I was the only one against it but didn't want to be negative so we got the bunnies. BIG MISTAKE! All they did was eat the electrical cords and chew their way into the underside of the couch. They don't play, they don't cuddle, just eat, sleep, hide, try to kill each other and poop. Their urine is potent smelling. The kids lost interest in them after a month. My wife still wants them but they just sit in a cage waiting to die, which in my opinion can't come soon enough. I hate being right sometimes. Don't get the bunnies, just because they're bunnies.

so, in a few weeks i am getting two baby bunnies. however, i have a border colly, husky, english bulldog mix. she ate a whole family of wild baby bunnies about two years ago. i am extremely scared that my bunnies will end up a tradgidy, and most likely leave me traumetized. please offer me some addvice. i looked it up, but i am still very worried. thank you
I would assume your dog will make a meal of your new baby bunnies, given the opportunity.
