I know some conservatives who would be quite offended by this definition, as they don't want to be linked to Christianity in any way.

I also know some liberal Christians, but they wouldn't be offended. They'd just say, "Well bless his heart, I guess he's never met me before" and go on with their day.

James Carville and Mary Matalin seem to be doing ok with it. I don't know how, but they seem to be.
