Can an addiction to a site like cc still be considered bad?

guess it depends on why you would call it an "addiction?" IF you place being here on CC AHEAD of God, then, yes it would be "bad." However, if you are here to fellowship with other believers and share in the Good News, then that is a good thing in my opinion. There are a lot of people (here - in the world) who are house bound for one reason or another, and this site offers them the opportunity of fellowship...........nothing wrong with that.

Well, addiction has a specific meaning. And according to that meaning, yes, it is. Addiction is bad, period. Addiction is being a slave to your desires, or to a thing outside of yourself. It means you are not in control of yourself. The very nature of addiction means you are putting other things ahead of God. What difference does it make if that thing is Christian based or not? Its still an addiction.
