Im just wondering. Ive heard different different things but i want to what truth is. Yes the bible says to love God(jesus) alone, But it doesn't say anything about this Mary person they believe in. Im a baptist and all i know and understand about catholics is they are too scared to ask God things so they ask Mary. But Can they still go heven? Mary is like hardly in my bible. lol

It may surprise you to learn that you and Catholics have something in common:

Age23 [h=5]About iluvGod2014[/h]Gender:male
Marital Status:not married
Spiritual Status:Christian
When saved:Since i was born

Catholics also believe that people can be "born" a Christian. Never heard Baptists teaching this though

You have it wrong iluvGod2014, the Catholics are not scared to ask God. The reason the Catholics ask Mary is because Mary was the Mother of Jesus Christ and they believe that Jesus Christ, who is God, HAS to do what His Mother Mary tells Him to do!

The Catholics do an end run around God to get Mary on their side who will demand that God HAS to do what they want!

Do you see how the Catholics have put Mary ABOVE God!

No Ken, what we see is how you are totally obsessed and fixated on this Catholic/Mary blitzkrieg.

First the bible says to worship God and God alone !!!

Second we are commanded to love all people, even those we consider to be our enemies that want to persecute us !!!

Third all people still have a change to go to heaven if they repent of their sinful ways !!!

Catholics have some issues in how they worship and in some of their teachings that tell their congregation to follow by, but this is not just a Catholic issue as I have seen some doctrine issues in other denominations as well. People just constantly want to point out the plank (sins) of the Catholic church, but not admit to the issues in their own denominations.

By taking and showing hatred toward those of the Catholic denomination, those people are also just as much steeped in sin.
As nowhere does the bible give believers the right to hate others, as hate doctrine is of the devil and Apostle John clearly says those who hate others have no eternal life abiding in them.

There is another doctrine floating around real big now days that is just as steeped in wrongful teachings, but I will not mention it because it sets some people off on here and turns them into attack dogs / raging wolves !!!

Those who attack these individuals instead of show them love, mercy, and forgiveness, and then in turn do not by love show them the truth in the word but give it in a hateful manner instead will never get the truth across to them................

We are in heaven now? Mac....your an interesting looking guy :) But this sort of logic is going to cause some to question your understanding .
Maybe some have not read in the Bible that there are three Heavens and three " Hell" in most Bibles.

I am a Catholic and I never met another Catholic that was afraid to ask God for what they believe is necessary to have a fulfilling spiritual life. A lot of Catholics do pray to Mary though but I am not one of them. The bible says that we are only to love and serve God but it does not say that we are to love God exclusively. What the bible does say is that we are to worship God alone and not other 'gods'.

I am glad that you are seeking the truth. I hope that this has clarified a few things for you regarding the Catholic faith. I am a Catholic, I have asked Jesus, with a sincere contrite heart, to forgive my past sinful life and I have invited Him to live inside of my heart. I have the God's word that I am going to heaven.

Jesus loves me, this I know, 'cause the bible tells me so.
You seem to have an extremely protestant view of things for a Catholic.

Are you SURE you're a Catholic?

Just admit you're a closet-Protestant.
Just do it!
Confession is good for the soul.

Gen 1:20
And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

Deu 33:28
Israel then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Jacob shall be upon a land of corn and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew

Not some but many are always questioning my logic! and the Bible says many will even murder people like me because of what I have said. It all comes with the work I do.

How can a person be saved since they were born? How can an Infant repent and invite Jesus Christ into their Heart?

They cannot. Therefore sir you have never received Salvation.

If you die right now you will not be allowed into Heaven.

Baptism do not give you Salvation. Salvation is received by Faith and Grace.

If I were you sir i would get on my knees and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior right this minute!

Its interesting that the Catholics have put their Mary equal to and above God. Did you know that when a Catholic confesses his sins to a Catholic priest that the Catholic priest tells them to say 50 Hail Marys to be forgiven for their sins.

No where does the Catholic Priest tell them to ask God to forgive them of their sins.

Everything in the Catholic Church is built around Mary and not God.

Yes, Catholics have their saints.. We bought a vintage car.. The most loved possession of a devout catholic.. Had pins of saints all over it. Once I removed them I was in some unbelievable battle, things began to happen to us once I destroyed those objects, I dealt with most harming attacks by prayer after destroying the objects...
So let me say if destroying the objects attached to the vintage car can do so much, wow, is that a Christian..? NO what I experienced was aftermath by a devout catholic and her saints attached to the car.. I had some real hunting experiences and that isn't from the lord. My whole family experienced it with great fear! It is from the devil!! And I still feel some major oppression ... Please do pray for me and my family. I blessed and oiled everything I could
Touch but it is a strong spirit.

I want to add I did not know the history and the emotional ties until me husband (unbeliever seemingly) brought it home and immediately we had supernatural problems, and he then showed the obituaries posted of the car as her greatest love on earth.. Suddenly it all made sense.. Demonic activity, soda cans being moved across a coffee table even all could see. The noise in the attic.. Sicknesses upon my kids. All went away when we moved.. And the car was as different location. Now my husband wants to bring it here and I am frightened... He doesn't get it.. He is an unbeliever (abusive also) so is there anything I can do?! Say. Prayer over the car.. I already removed the worship pins and I got beat up...'so trying not to provoke that...?

Sorry for my typos I am typing on an iPhone and it's changing a lot of the grammar... So tonight, that very car that had her pic with the car naming the very car as her "love on earth" on the obituary, is now sitting in my garage and I tell you, I get the creeps when I go there.. Bad creeps and I am out of oil..! And I am alone here tonight. I have seen the supernatural come from it. I scared I know this isn't from God but something very evil. I have seen it and I witness a presence in that space. Am I going nuts...???!! This is so real and it isn't just me experiencing it.. Can't go to details but my child came to me just recently about the evil presence. Our finances are also suddenly bad and I had emergency surgery and I am not that old...
38 years old.. Any help..? This is now strictly tied to a devout catholic with saint pins on a car and her having that car in a paper as her most beloved possession... Help..!? I removed the pins and my life just got worse
