I am asking can someone help me write a resume' and a cover letter, I have searched the web but don't see much in the feild of my expertise. I worked, the same job for ten years and now is laid off and the way I got that job was through someone I knew. I did not need a resume' or anything. He was friends with the lady who was then our boss.
I was in the streets before this job and did not learn how to even do a job interveiw. but have learned much over the years, praise be to God.
I hope and pray that someone here can help me, and if you who is willing to help, I pray that you are understanding and patient and is willing to show me what exatly what employers are looking for in a resume' and cover letter.
I will tell you something about what I know how to do.
I worked in building maintenace for ten years, and during this time i went to a traininng program; where I pick up certificates in many things, and have had on the job training; many thousand of hours.
I worked in public housing high rises; family housing (women and children) and 7years in senior housing. excelent people skills; working directly with people and for the people.
my skills are: basic; plumbing,; stoppages; familure with all plumbing tools and work to remove indoor plumbing promblems. repairing leaks in pipes, tubs and sink faucets, drywall and tile, health and safty ( HUD , city and state and on the job requierments), good with small to medium size hand tools and power tools, basic electricity ( installing fixtures, outlets, switches and trouble shooting and rewiring), print reading, janitorial duties and supplies, low preasure boilers up to 15 psi. the daily preventive maintenance checks, changing locks and key cutting and some coding, also works good with venders, supervisory skills and very, very detailed.
I really need a job and I am asking my sisters and brothers in Christ to please help in my search. if it is ok please show me how I am suppose to outline and explains all this. and other things that I may need to add.
please don't pass me by, I know that who ever find it in their heart to help me with this God is going to truly blessed them for will be my good Samaritan, and my neighbor who has shown me love and grace.
I thank you God for sending someone to help me with all that is needed concerning this part of what you Lord is about to do in my life, Lord I pray you give them all they need pertaining to their lives that will be a blessing like none other they have ever seen, Lord do it for them in the Holy and Precious name of Christ Jesus I pray to you.
what good is it to see a brother in need and send them away with nothing but you have all that they have need of? please; I need you don't send me away with nothing.
