In the early 1900's just about every American male citizen worked a 9 - 5 Job and came home to there families and he would praised his kids and his wife for doing what was required of them to keep up with the up-keeping of there lovely home. Back then life was simple, hard, but honest. It was also a slow past economy and we took pride in our work. Almost every-thing we made was produced right here in the good old U.S.A. When Sunday came all the towns shops would be closed for the day and we all went to church to praise our God for all the blessings he had given us.
Today is different. Not every American has a 9 - 5 job. There out there looking for a job that's not out there no more. Instead there jobs are located in a different country were it can be done cheaper and faster, but at what cost I ask you? Well the answer is: YOUR JOB! Another answer is the poor person that made that shirt you just bought at Wal-Mart or Target is doing it for only pennies and hour or having a child do it at the cost of his life.
Today every-body thinks they need to move fast and to be that guy who can multitask 8 different things all at once. In this process we are stressing our bodies to the point were we are killing our self and hurting our children by not teaching them Family values and our Christian values. We are also letting our Government run our life for us and telling us what we can and can not do with our life. Why? Well the answer is simple. Because WE DON"T CARE no more. Our school teaches our kids "Reading - Typing - Flash Memory Math" no longer the three (R's). ( Ask you child to do a simple math question like 121 (-) 340, then ask them to wright there work to show you how they got there answer and then asked them to correct there own work with-out the use of a calculator. They can't) We are letting our school's force studies that a 6 grader does to a poor second grade child. Then when our kid does poorly, We as a parent scorn our kids and make him feel that he did some-thing wrong.
We are teaching our kids today that our self- needs come first and God needs come second. We are also teaching our kids that selfishness is the way of life, and being poor is being lazy.( THINK? why do we give God 10% tip but give a waitress 15% tip?) Yes I know that waitress do not make a lot of money, most would be lucky to make $2.00 an hour. But why not give God 10% he requires and add 5% in our time to praise him and worship him in doing good deeds to others and spending quality time with our families? What happen to Family night? "No T.V., Video Game, Computers, Ipads, ect." You get together as a family and playing a round of bingo or going to a local park and having a family outing. Doing these thing not only strengthen your bond with your family, but is strengthens your bond with God.
Why am I typing this to you? God asked me to, and its the truth, and we all need to slow down and take a deep breath and think of what we are doing as a whole that is hurting our health. 1st.God - 2sec.Country - 3thr.Family. Remember with out God we would not be here today.

God our Father, Giver of life, we entrust our life and our families to Your loving care. You are the rock on which this nation was founded. You alone are the true source of our cherished rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Reclaim our hearts and our souls for Your glory, and dwell among Your people. Send Your Spirit to touch the hearts of our nation´s leaders. Open their minds to the great worth of human life
and the responsibilities that accompany human freedom. Remind Your people that true happiness is rooted in seeking and doing Your will. Grant us the courage to reject the "culture of death." Lead us into a new millennium of life. We ask this through Christ Our Lord.
