Christian Chat Crash of 2011 was not so bad

I was just thinking that maybe the Christian Chat Crash of 2011 was a good thing. Yeah we lost lots of data, rep power, membership status, threads we were all following but maybe God wanted us to revive some old threads. Some threads end when newer ones begin. I joined CC in early Dec. 2010 and this week have come accross threads from last summer that are pretty good. Maybe we needed to look at some older ones because they may have had some important advice or encouragement to our lives that some of the newer members never got a chance to see.

also give us a chance to start new post/threads I wasn't really into posting threads when I first joined in early September of last year and was just basically here to chat with friends in the chat room, but now that the chat is down temporarily, I have gotten interested in starting my own post/thread and has been going really well

i personally think it was terrible...

I lost my account in the crash and I couldt make a new account because when I logged it it said that I didnt excist.
Well untill a week ago when after being a long time not on christianchat I tried and it worked again.
So I personally think the crash was terrible

yea. Which reminds me. If such a thing ever happs again (I hope not :S) shouldn't there be a way of letting those who lost their accounts know what happened?
