Naive is a kind word...Not becasue they are not people. But, if they are using it as an extension for the mosque in order to do their worshipping...it's another story. Of course, look at the epicoplal church in DC and what they allow.

Blending cultures and strange gods worked out so well for the Israelites.

Solomon also allowed foreign gods to be worshipped in the temple. That didn't work out too well for Israel.
