Garfield Christmas special or Charlie Brown Christmas.
If you go on youtube you can watch

Carpenters Christmas
and Mr Beans Christmas

The tvs channels here always show Home Alone or some american family movie like...Gremlins, Edward Scissorhands, Die Hard

No Queens christmas message this year I expect King Charles will do one probably showing some home movies of ?!

But mostly movies are a washout on christmas day because when you already with family and everyones talking at once its hard to watch a movie at the same time. Try getting a family quiet enough to watch a movie is impossible. You can watch your own family dramas possibly more entertaining

Last night we watched 'Twas The Text Before Christmas, and My Christmas Hero with Candace Cameron Bure she also directed it, and it was really a good movie.

* Scrooge / A Christmas Carol (Alistair Sim, 1951)

• It's a Wonderful Life

I also like my favorite old sitcoms' Christmas episodes, and Decades is having a "Catchy Binge" this weekend with just that. My poor DVR disc.

I have just started watching The Holiday Calendar (<= link) .:).

I found a list of Christmas movies currently available for viewing .:D

It seems I have seen many of them already .:giggle:

You can find the list here.

Normally I would be at work today but I have been sick this
week, most likely with the flu, since I tested negative for covid.

My wife likes Hallmark Christmas Movies, so I get to watch at least one a day from Halloween. It makes her happy, so I don't mind.

They are better than most of the trash that other channels run.
I agree. Such a nice change to watch something sweet and wholesome as opposed to the more
prevalent peppered-with-profuse-profanity and doped up over-amped out-of-control people.

I just finished The Holiday Calendar. It was all the more relatable to me having photography as a "backdrop" theme .:)

Plus Ron Cephus Jones was one of the of prominent secondary characters.
I have always liked him since I was first introduced to him in This Is Us.

Oh dear! I just discovered he passed away this year. R.I.P., RCJ...

I just watched Angela's Christmas, based on the true story that Frank McCourt's mother
used to tell her children. Frank McCourt (August 19, 1930 – July 19, 2009) was an Irish-
American teacher and writer who won a Pulitzer Prize for his book Angela's Ashes, which
was followed up with 'Tis. I read both those books. @Eli1 I think you would really like it
.:)

Angela's Christmas is an animated short (about thirty minutes long): there is also Angela's Christmas Wish.

I just finished watching Angela's Christmas Wish. It was sweet; another animated short @ 47 minutes long.

A sequel to the much loved Angela's Christmas, Angela's Christmas Wish is a heart-warming
tale of a determined little girl who sets out to reunite her family in time for Christmas.
