What are your thoughts on youngish and middle-aged men and women coloring their gray/white hair in order to look younger?

I think a woman can still look youthful with graying hair for prospective marriage/dating purposes, assuming she takes care of herself. I actually think a woman can look sophisticated, as well as confident, with graying hair. I am open to guys with graying hair as well. I would not go for guys who have white hair since only much older guys have white hair, and I am not that age. However if a guy around my age has pure white hair I would not be opposed to it.

Curious to hear all opinions...from spouses, those in the dating pool, etc.

My mother was completely white-haired in her twenties. She did not dye it.
By the time she had her last child in her early to mid-forties, when she was out
and about with my youngest sister, people thought she was her grandmother!

I think white hair looks stunning .:). Though hair dying has become so much more widespread.

Young people do NOT want to get married these days. If an old man is lookingfor a younger woman its more likely as some kind of playmate or someone he can control. Or his daughter.

Sorry I just think hair dye is so common these days that its not about looking younger its more about being colourful...people can dye their hair any colour and its just a fun thing to do. Its just easier if your hair is white or bleached or blonde, dark hair is harder to dye.

If a girl rejects me because my hair is gray... Great! I dodged a bullet. No way do I want somebody that shallow.

I figure your dad was still behaving within acceptable parameters if it only changed colors and was not also falling out.

That his mother's wooden spoon failed to stir the dust collection on his backside?

Nope. His mom used switches. But mostly it means he ate dirt, could make a pretend gun out of any stick, swallowed at least 10 things a pig wouldn't eat, and learned to practice medicine by applying dirt to open wounds.

The switches make all the difference in the typical boy growing into a typical man who is set in foolishness, and I say so even if the switches where only administered by a tongue lashing.

Agree. But there is nothing wrong with the board of education being applied to the seat of knowledge.

That has got to be one of the cleverest things I have seen you say and given
your propensity and ability to say clever things, that is really saying a lot LOL

It is not just middle-aged men and women dying their hair white. Many young people
do, too, and for those with a lot of pigmentation in their hair, it takes a lot of work!

I wish I could take credit for it, but I heard it in a sermon by the late Adrian Rogers.
