Bearing With One Another In Love,
Paul calls himself a prisoner of the Lord. Does that
mean that that he has no choice in what he does as
a an apostle of God. Well in fact it really does but he
was not shackled and chained in the earthly sense.
By his own desire he gave his will to Jesus and gave
up his previous life as a Pharisee. His life is no longer
his own as he fully surrendered all that he was and all
that would be and put on Christ as his Master for the
rest of this earthly life. He put on the grace of God to
liberate the world from the law. As he himself was
liberated by his total acceptance of Jesus, he began
to preach God's word as a total surrender to grace
and love. Love was why Jesus came. Jesus came to
reveal God to the world. So whatever Jesus did is
what God is and would do. Our vocation through life
should emulate the life of Christ as Christ did through
His Father.
