Hey, I'm weird (though my wife says never to use that word because it references the occult in the dictionary), so I guess the best way to get my attention might have been to use some weird stuff.
That being weird given "Kung foo" (that which you had made mention of) is considered to be of the occult, no?

The character in the TV series was totally against the powers of darkness. His religion just had no understanding of Jesus.

Well, "Kung Foo" has nothing, really, to do with "religion", per se. It was a technique of martial arts fighting taught by Da Mo's (monks) at a Chinese Temple of the Shaolin sect. Some of the masters of the Art did not even make claim to any specific religion. The program was about a half-breed (Chinese/American) who fled to America in the Old West days because he avenged the death of a monk by a royal punk.

What I liked best about the program, and what opened my eyes to thinking of Christ, were the many wise sayings the main character often used. Like many sayings of a variety of religions, they usually paralleled the Bible in their wisdom and justice.

"No", I'm not going to argue any pros and cons of Eastern religions with anybody. It is just that these sayings had a huge impact on me in wanting to find Jesus.

Dont say, "No" as if I you are answering to what I desire, as I am not at all interested in arguing with you over you whatever content of TV you watched before you come to Jesus Christ.

It was the "weird" thing, and how you shared about how your wife connected the same to the occult.

I was just pointing out that its kind of ironic (here) because that Kung foo thing is considered of the occult.

Thats all I was adressing.

I wasnt interested in the show or its backround (at all) its just how "Kung foo" comes up on a google search along with the occult.

Nothing more.
