I don't think we should have to answer this question in public.

It's not funny any more when our living to eat makes us fat, tired, and sickly so it takes away the fun of living!

And how much the where, who with, and conversations are part of the fun of eating.

And how much time is put in the food part of raising kids. There are finicky kids, fat kids, won't eat veggies kids. Or the kids without the family bonding over dinner part.

Often I forget to eat and I don't even notice until I start feeling weak and sickish. So I do eat to live I suppose. I know I should do better, but college keeps me so busy. Sometimes food just doesn't taste good to me, even stuff I generally like.

Semester will be over soon though, then I'll get back to better habits hopefully. :)

If brains worked more like computers I would download your program! I have never in my entire life forgotten about food for more than a minute or two.

Did you know there is a connection between eating and the praying part of the brain?
I wish I could remember the article, but I read a scholarly article on this subject.
It seems that the same area of the brain activates when people pray as those who eat.
So, if you wake up in the middle of the night, finding yourself with an appetite, perhaps prayer will satisfy.
Food, compared to praying, has chemicles that can make people crave the flaves.
This is why prayer is called a discipline.
In contrast, food, for many Americans and others, is a past-time that expands the waste-line.

Confession: I battle the habit of eating larger quantities and/or munching through the day.
