Well didn't God give you free will? but think about this though, God created you, God gave you life, So who does your body belongs to? He never made you to be robots, as we all know that. but God gave you free will. to choose, to make your own choices. but bare this in mind. If you created a masterpiece wooden chair, you spent lots of hours, days or even months to make that chair look unique. You give it to someone, 2 days later, you find out that person has given it to someone. How would you honestly feel?
God has given you the right to worship the true God, a god who created you, a God who has given you life. yet, you choose a man made religion over him, you choose to own something that God has created.
So no you can't own your own body. As you are to look after it, so in a sense, its not your own body to do what you want.
If you know what I mean. But choosing a religion? its not a matter of rights, its a matter of respect that you have life. Life that a man, nor religion can create. religions can create false doctrine. man can create lies and deceit, man can turn you away from the real truth. But man cannot create you.
