I have two particular dreams of hell, the first dream was a couple years ago when we first moved into this house, and I was falling, and Jesus was there and reached his hand out to me. After that Jesus disappeared and I saw the three crosses in a beautiful sunrise,or sunset. The next one was very weird, because there was a staircase, and I was already basically in hell, and there was a staircase, and a door on every level. The first level was my father's door basically, the second door was power rangers don't ask... But we were trying to break through the last door and we couldn't and there was of a beast (the three headed dog) and flames were spitting out but it seem we kept climbing staircase after staircase and ending up no where. Does anyone have any kinda of meaning on these dreams or no? or can they be just because of what I watch on televion which was nick at nite advertising for the new power ranger movie, and impact wrestling which they were doing an advertistment for a ladder match called ascension to hell, for the second dream.

I'd respond on the lack of wisdom asking a group of random strangers to create spiritual meaning out of thin air in regards to something God hasn't verified is even from Him. But some people prefer to bypass 'testing the spirits', or waiting on God, and just make up their own idea of what they think it means. But those people are quite vocal against anyone who might take away their chance to be creative, err.. i mean spiritual. So i have no answer for you.

Curious, how would you "test the spirits" regarding a dream. For someone that has "no answer for you" that was quite an answer. Have you ever had a lucid dream with spiritual characteristics? Like ever?

Really it a serious inquiry, but you can't let a joke be a joke. I am not even sure what you mean by testing the spirits thanks stealtoedkodiak we were talking about lucid dreams at work today and I couldn't figure out what the word was for the meaning of you know when you are in a dream, can it somehow mean that I going through a revelation of of sorts with the beast in the dream, and the fact that my father is actually has passed on, yet I don't much of about my father just know he was nice when he was sober, and horrible when he was drunk, and I trying to climb away from past? I don't know I think I might have answered my own question.

Sounds like your subconscious was at work. The three-headed dog would be Cerberus, the guardian of the underworld in Greek mythology. Are you into Greek mythology? Or perhaps Harry Potter? There's a three-headed dog called Fluffy in there.

The subconscious is fascinating, not sure what that part of us is really called but I'm sure it is in the Bible. Our "friends" in the psychology world call it the subconscious. It probably is programmable and deprogrammable, and the source of many of our dreams. We really should know more about how we're made...

Was there any alcohol involved? As in: pizza + beer + scary imagery from TV = weird dreams?

This thread reminds me of the old story about a Pastor whose favorite saying was ''could be worse'' One day a member of his congregation came to him and said Pastor I must tell you about the terrible dream I had last night. I died and went to Hell. The Pastor replied Could be worse. The member said but Pastor how could something be worse than a dream like that? The Pastor replied Could have been real

oh come on

these dreams come what may, going to hell or seeing the Apocalypse...don't they make Jesus more real?

oh

they don't

these dreams when you close your eyes are not from God

if you had a dream, from God, if you actually did, it would be because you were asking questions

or maybe because you were Pharaoh and it was time for Joseph to be released...from where God had him in storage

God does not drop a bomb on people and then sit back and make bets with the angels as to how long it will take the dullards to figure it out

wake up! literally and figuratively!!!

where's Joe when you need him....
