Last Saturday evening, my employer's 24 year old daughter went out with a friend of hers who is also 24. They had just left their first bar of the night after having one drink and were on their way to their second bar when a driver ran a red light and plowed into the car her friend was driving, sending them into a utility pole and totaling the car. The daughter ended up having staples in her head to close up a gash, and the other girl received injuries as well that were not life threatening. Ironically, the driver of the other vehicle was drunk. Do not believe either girl has had a drink as of yet. My belief is this was God's way of warning them of certain consequences in life. Could have had a different outcome.

God's way of warning them? Who knows? Maybe they didn't look both ways when the light turned green to check that all cars were stopping. Just a habit I taught my kids. To never presume that all cars are following the signals.

True, checking to make sure another driver is not trying to beat their yellow-turned-red signal is definitely a safety net. However, their light was already green when they approached it.

I think that God does intervene his self into our lives, I am going through something now where I believe that HE allowed something to happen in my life to show me a health issue that I did not realize I had, which is getting better every day, thanks and glory to Him!! but, we need to be careful not to think that everything is sign, message, etc... because it is not.
