Not entirely sure what you mean by special. The idea of the tattoo linking to this or the butterflies displayed on here itself that I like? Sorry, it's past five in the morning and I haven't slept. :/

But for some reason I do have some fascination of them.
Well, both, I guess, now you mention it.

Do you think your fascination for them might one day push you to get inked in a butterfly design that is special to you?

It might. I don't really know but if I could actually get across of the idea for one I'd like to see it'd be great for a start. Did that even make sense? x.x

Hunger and tiredness is taking over me. I shall refrain from posting let alone try reading anything.

Well, make sure you really want one and plan it well before you actually do it; and don't let ppl influence you. If you see a nice design, and go see an artist in a parlor, s/he can come up with a usable design from the one you show him/her. But never rush into anything. Blessings.

I use to enjoy watching the Naiads crawl out of the water, attach themselves to whatever was handy and within a short period of time a crawly water bug became a beautiful dragonfly. Well maybe not beautiful...like the damselfly. I was on a boat once and a dragonfly landed on my shoulder and thereupon ate his lunch which consisted of a shadfly (mayfly). My but I could hear his crunching. I believe some but not all of the dragonflies migrate.

So this is where you are at:

Keep looking in books and photo-banks for a butterfly design. Then take it or copy it and show it to a tattoo artist you trust.

But don't do it until you're sure.

Blessings.

Well, it's not rocket science.

The stages you go through to become a nicely tattooed young woman are straightforward, if this is what you want.

But we all of us need to concentrate first of all on the inward and spiritual side of things. A good place to start is John 3.16. A good place to continue is John 3.16: its truth is inexhaustible.

My hobby is reading, I guess. At one stage I got rid of hundreds of my books, but this didn't seem to stop the accumulating again...

I create beaded jewelry, using tiny seed beads. Bead weaving stitches. Sorry no pics. Pieces take me anywhere from 5 hours to 35 hours to complete. My current piece has taken over 2 weeks so far, at several hours a day. A multi colored free form necklace. The creating, color choosing, decision making and designing are all soothing, calming, peaceful processes. And I couldn't do any of it without the talent God gave me.

Sounds interesting. Especially with the sheer variety of beads.

You must have a lot of necklaces, bangles and pendant earrings by now.

Blessings.

3D mostly, some 2D on photoshop/illustrator.
Sounds good. I find my fingers tremble a bit at my age when trying to use things like photoshop.

Would you be any good at designing tattoos, for example? there's plenty of scope in a sense for good artists in this growth area (incl. for faith based designs).

Blessings.
