I have a fear of accidentally ordering a white sauce pizza instead of the regular red sauce. Sadly it has happened a few times. :(

I suppose
I don't know if I'd call it a 'fear'...or just a bad morning lol

But I would NOT like to be stuck...in an over crowded elevator with creepy strangers...sweating profusely..dobbing their foreheads nervously like Quenton Taritino does in a movie lol ugh...just the thought ewww

Then Id try to use my over dramatic imagination. So since Im a tall girl...Id likely be the one trying to get to the ceiling and pop it open.
Whew...anything
Id kick that bad boy open just to get out of that scene. Lol
Likely it will never happen...but I always cringe when I see a movie where an elevator is jammed ugh lol

My mom actually got stuck in an elevator when she was 8 months pregnant with me. Ever since then she would have rather take 8 sets of stairs instead of using the elevator to get to the 8th floor.

Yea maybe they need to pass some sort of law to keep this from getting out of control? :)

This community is notorious for landing on the subject of food no matter what the discussion is. It always reminds me of something I read by David Sedaris:

Faced with the challenge of explaining the cornerstone of Christianity, we did what any self-respecting group of people might do. We talked about food instead.
:p

I have a fear of laughing at something and it wasn't even meant to be funny. :(

You and I, make a good combo.

Hey, so this is just for the fun of it. I know we all have some serious fears, but....I don't want to talk about those ones. Let's talk about a silly fear of yours :)

One of mine is having an irrational fear of gnomes. Gnomes are just scary in itself.

What about you? What are some silly fears that people laugh at? :) I want to hear!
First, never, never go into my garden or go down in to my basement. I really fear scaring people and I would terrify you.

Second, my phobias -- anything with more than four legs -- bugs, spiders, centipedes, millipedes, or even Daddy-Long-Legs. I have tried to push my wall through to the next wall backing up from a water bug heading toward me, simply because there was no other way to get away.

And I'm a gardener, yet lady bugs (except Blue Lady Bug) creep me out as much as water bugs. I just don't like the feeling of their tiny little feet on my skin. (That and I found out I was allergic to ants when I let one crawl on me for fun and forgot about it until it bit me. And I stepped on a bee once and my foot blew up like a football for three weeks.)

Popping balloons. Balloons do not scare me, unless they might pop. A balloon sitting peacefully on the floor or floating on the ceiling doesn't scare me at all. The same balloon with a cat or toddler going after it terrifies me. It's the popping that scares me.

And I blame it on my brothers. Mom volunteered to bring balloons to something, so we were recruited to blow them up. No biggie, until she brought a large box of them home. And then, when she wasn't looking my two older brothers picked me up and threw me in the box head first (still holding onto my legs, so they weren't trying to kill me. Just doing what brothers do to little sisters. lol) Not only did the balloons I displaced pop right in my ears, but trying to get out caused more balloons to pop, and a phobia was born.

And if you think I'm a wussy wuss (which I might be lol), I am NOT phobic about gators or getting electrocuted in water even after my brother made me pull a lamp out of the gator's tub with the light still on. The gator was safely out of the water, but his lamp fell in when he tried to jump up and push the screen out of the way to escape. And yes, my brothers really made me put my hand in there to grab the lamp knowing I'd get a jolt, but my two choices were do that or get beat up and then have that same choice. But despite all that, I have no phobias over electrocution by water or gators. (Healthy respect for the business end of a gator, but who doesn't? lol)

Spiders. Clowns.

Running out of chocolate or ice cream.
Those aren't fears. Those are reasonable responses to some of the true horrors in life. (Well, except for the clowns, but other than that.)

You guys have to watch the dog spider video its so funny...it even makes a funny sound like a giant insect would and when its running after people it looks like a giant spider chasing them...there's a clown one but that one creeps me out lol

to add to my list of things

they look so evil!! and creepy and yeaaaaa keep em away from me haha
That's just mean. :(

My engihbro did some renveation a few years ago. (Our homes are attached by the same wall.) That disturbed the centipedes and silverfish hiding in the wall, and one came out on my side when I was going upstairs. It wasn't much smaller than that picture.

Now we have what looks like a big splatter spot on the wall paper. Looks kind of like what happened when my greasy 'fro met a bus window. It's Raid. That bug is gone. My horror remains.
