it's been such a long time since i have posted...so much fussing about..
so it brings me to this post..
find peace..it's the only way to connect and speak to God..find your place..
i have a place and to no surprise to those who know me ..it is the beach..
my place takes me to that state of mind where i connect with God .. the healing
power of the sea and the cleansing of the sand brings me to a calm and joyful place that
i never want to leave...to sit in my chair ..umbrella low for privacy i wait, staring at the
horizon..waiting for Jesus..i find the awe in what living under Grace really means..how the only true
thing we must do.. is love one another..as God loves us...we will never be able to be worthy of this place
called Grace...its given freely and abundantly...i drown myself in it...
take the time to find your place and spend every bit of time you can there...it will give you a perspective
on how we are treating each other...love to all my brothers and sister in Christ...
and may you all find your place....find your peace...Jo

I, too, love the peace that a beach brings. But now I'm not able to get there so much so I can take myself there all the time in my mind. You don't have to be there to see, smell, feel and get the benefits. So many people just don't understand that they can set up lots of places to visit right inside themselves.

I also love the image of Jesus Christ IN me. He also is a place. Perfect place of peace.

Hi jo and joie,
Thanks for the op. wish u will post more often. Tell us about the beach, and how children's cuts and wounds quickly get healed there?!

You don't have to be there to see, smell, feel and get the benefits...

But i think u have to... or do i say it is much better when we can. We are 7000+ islands but going to the beach not that easy nor often. Maybe we can just put salt in the bath water=).

Speaking of sand, sea and salt, makes me wonder why God put them there all together... and the sun too, of course. I hear some people who dig and lie down in the sand are relieved of many pains. Maybe that is why there is now sand therapy also=).

Let me sneak this trivia on sand before i lose it:
Salt varies greatly with quality, mineral content, and health benefits

Refined Salt
: White Poison
- The problem with salt is not the salt itself but the condition of the salt we eat! Our regular table salt no longer has anything in common with the original crystal salt. Salt now a day is mainly sodium chloride and not salt. With the advent of industrial development, our natural salt was "chemically cleaned" and reduced only to sodium and chloride. Major producing companies dry their salt in huge kilns with temperatures reaching 1200 degrees F, changing he salt's chemical structure, which in turn adversely affects the human body. The common table salt we use for cooking has only 2 or 3 chemical elements. The seawater has 84 chemical elements. For our body to be healthy we need all those elements. When we use the common salt, we are in deficit of 81 elements which means we are somehow contributing to becoming weaker, imbalanced and more susceptible to diseases. Use the seawater salt.

seawater always calms me...i just lay back and float ...the calming effect is amazing
i am knocking on the door to sixty....i have been an athlete most of my life...the wear and tear i do to
my muscles by all rights i should have arthritis.... all the people i know who are my age are on medication
for one ailment or another...but i have none...i contribute that to the time i spend digging in the sand and
soaking in seawater ...i have so much peace in my life....this i know is all God...but for me to slow down and
meditate on God requires a state of mind that i can't find just anywhere...so many distractions at home to interfere
with that....at the beach the only distractions is the beauty surrounding me that is so great ..it must be God all over it...
thanks for sharing this info...enlightening...peace jo

Now i see... why we also get to sleep so soundly in the sand or just near the sea.. with the wind and waves. Now sorry, i said trivia on sand-- that was salt. I see we have so much of refined table salt in the groceries, but they do taste different from the sea salt crystals. So that is why. We dont really need those pink (but they look nice) crystals, but if that is available...

You have been an athlete? Swimmer? Do share more. We used to go to beaches when i was small, but after we grew bigger and the car was crowded, i think we went less. Thank you also for sharing.
