I have been a fan since a child ..I have never seen a Tenn team with this much raw talent ..we have a dominant defense ...maybe the best in the country and seasoned lines ..both offense and defense with a excellent QB that can run and throw and two superstar running backs ... I don't see anyone matching up to them in talent ..its the mental aspect that will decide the season

Tenn was 17 points from undefeated last year ..lead every team in the forth quarter ..including Bama and Oklahoma ..it was the mental aspect that kept them from a championship last year ... If they can keep the right mindset ..they will not be stopped in my opinion. I had a thread last year and was not all in on Tenn but was suspect of the high praise they was getting ... I'm not just being a fan..im being a objective fan in my opinion :)

that is a good scenario except for the matter of the loss ya'll will leave here ( Athens ga ) with 2 weeks before bama. lol!!

yes, we have a " smart " coach now!! by the way, still waiting on the thank you note from your coach for us coughing up a 24-3 lead up there last year. job saving win was that not??

It was for sure a turning point in the season ... and it could have gotten bad if they had not won that game ...but Tennessee proved it was not a fluke and have taken that win and improved every game since... lots of young people on that team last year... I think 22 different freshman started at some point last year.

This is our year young lady ..the mighty Vols are back on top and will be using the tide to walk on to get there :)

Look ..we have the real deal this year ..best team I have ever seen in Knoxville ..no fairy tale ..its kick Bama tail

Even if they play lights out i still cannot see them better than 11 - 1 rolling into the SEC champ. Game with a 'Bama' rematch ------------- with a trip to the playoff on the Line . There is no more hiding . LET THE GAMES BEGIN

They got the talent ..it will come down to the mental game for these guys ..one of the coaches in the coaches poll gave then a first place vote and it wasn't Butch Jones who don't have a vote in that poll ..at least one coach sees what I see :)
