Couples might enjoy a service day together, and you might be introduced to a friend of the bride who is impressed by your faith and willingness to care for others.:)(y)
Looking for ways to be offended might get in the way.
But us guys sometimes prefer to just hang out with other guys....
That way we don't have to worry about the million and one ways we could get in trouble.
We are more free to be ourselves.

I know I am not a guy and you wanted responses from men but I was on Facebook one day and some suggested Facebook groups popped up so I joined one on Rapture and End Times as I find that interesting. I posted something and a lady sent me a message. She asked me if I was in America as most on that group were American. She told me she was in Aus. So am I. It turns out that she is in my state. She lives about two hours away. We are very similar in our likes and we became friends. I was not at all expecting it. It seems like God divinely orchestrated it all. So perhaps you should join some Christian Facebook groups and you may make some friends that live near by.
Interesting. Thanks for sharing! I was in Melbourne when I was in Australia several years ago. I had a day there before going on to New Zealand for 8 days. I flew Qantas just for the option of a day in Australia on the way over.

Women bond by talking, men bond by sharing activities, working together, watching sports.:)(y):coffee:

That is why most men have a painful expression while at church, most don't know the indwelling Christ desires to work in and through them, church has mostly become a social gathering that meets women's needs and leaves men cold, you might have top bend if there are no men and no mens groups around there, and then we have CC for Christian growth and fellowship.

Which means that while the men are working and getting it done the women stand around telling us how they feel we are doing it wrong.

If you’re in Cattle country. Have you considered looking into Cowboy churches? That’s a thing where I’m from at least . Don’t know if you ride but it’s a thought. Some of the ranchers I know get together do trail rides together, help each other move cows one pasture to the next , they do family/church potlucks etc. ever given that consideration?

another thought. Some of the rural areas around me have Christian camps that bring people in from many different areas of the nation to 1 location for a week or so during summers. Anything like that out there? Being a volunteer at one may open some doors. It might not be sponsored by your particular church or necessarily fit your church’s minor doctrine but if you were open to that there are options out there. You would be around Christian men in activity running and overseeing activities like zip lines, hikes, etc.

another thought spring boarding off that . have you considered being being a scout volunteer? Trail life USA -Christian scouting-is really growing since BSA had their issue. And a big part of scouts is indeed hiking. Trail life USA is exclusively men and boys.

Nothing like that at all around here. We don’t even have reliable internet where I live. Closest major town is about a half hour away. Closest city is 2 hours. I don’t have much to work with at all.

Let me do some thinking and looking. It sounds like you live in a region very similar to an area an hour or so north of me. We call it the Nebraska Sandhills region . Similar I think anyway as their population density is 3 people per square mile.

Yeah. It’s very rural here. Lots of farmland. Granted there are towns close by, albeit small. If I lived in a city this would be a much easier thing to accomplish I would think. The problem simply lies in a lack of people around that are not work or church affiliated. Would be great if there were other guys in my church to start something with - that would be ideal.

I’m specifically asking the men because men’s and women’s brains are wired different, so I’m looking for thoughts from my own gender. Men - Do you ever feel “isolated” as a Christian? I myself work a secular job and know of no other Christian’s at work. I attend an awesome church, but it doesn’t have a men’s group so to speak. (Rural America, so it’s not a big church that can support a healthy sized men’s group - right now there seems to be a lack of interest in one.) Most of my friends are from the secular side of life (work, neighbors, etc.) so at times it feels like I’m all alone as a Christian man. There are very few men from my generation in my church - most are 20+ years older or 25+ years younger. (It is encouraging to see the number of young men in my church though!) So the question is - do any of you other men feel isolated, and if so, how do you manage it in this decaying world?
I don't feel isolated at all.
I feel very happy, blessed and grateful.

He said he would never leave me nor forsake me, if I have isolated myself from Him, I will feel isolated until I reestablish the personal, vital, one on one relationship with Him that is required. Jesus told us in these last of the last days many would have an outward form of Godliness, whereas His Own would do greater works than His.

I am outnumbered here. I just wanted to encourage the op to give the Facebook idea a try.

I shall depart and allow you all to continue the mens talk.
