When I was little, my best friends were Connie and Celinie. Her name is Celina, but she was named after her mother so every one called her Celinie.
I would go to Celinie's house quite often because her family had horses and alot of sheep. Celinie and I would ride all around the pastures and go through the woods to the river and let the horses drink. A neighbor of hers, an old man named Johnny Walker, lived right next door to them and he would always give me and Celinie a Hershey's chocolate bar whenever we went to see him. ![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
My other friend, Connie, was also my cousin. I stayed overnight at her house one time, and we were looking out her back porch window, and we saw something big and brown walking through the field. We couldn't tell what it was, but we were convinced we'd just seen Bigfoot! LOL.
Through the years, I've only seen Connie a handful of times, at weddings or funerals. Her mom died recently of cancer.
Connie, Celinie and myself had alot of fun times. What are some favorite memories of you and your best friends?
Aline and I used to record our own voices on her oldest sister's radio (it had lots of colorful lights), we should have kept the tape to laugh after so many years.
