Good Morning,
There is life going on outside my window, the recycling truck has paid it's weekly visit to the neighbourhood, with it's accompanying sounds of glass meeting glass, and tin can's meeting other tin can's, the 'recycle man's melody'. Children have been passing on their way to school, with Mums, Dads or Grandparent in tow. There is the low drone of traffic noise on the air. Even 'the rag and bone' man's sing-song call of 'Iron - any iron?' is on the air. Probably following the recycle truck in the hope that there will be something for him being thrown away this morning.
Now all is still, except for the sound of the birds singing. How we take such things so much for granted.
Thank you Lord!
For food, and health and Thy great love, we praise Thy Name , Oh Lord.
I have been having a late morning. Time to rise and face the day.
There are baby lambs in the fields, and Spring flowers everywhere. People are 'casting their clouts before May is out' this year very early, with the coming of the sun. An elderly man in the hairdressers yesterday, having his 'short back and sides', informed us all that they would 'Rue the day' for there is still the prospect of frost.
Thank you Lord for my fellowmen!
'This is the day that the Lord has made,
I will rejoice and be glad in it'
Love to all, in Christ Jesus
Our risen and glorified
Saviour, Lord and Head
Chris
PS. Thank you for listening to my nonsense
