Tell me any great movie moments!
In A Walk to Remember, my favorite scene starts when Landon joins Jamie at the lunch table after the play and ends when she walks away from Landon and leaves in her car. :)

Well, simply because I just watched the movie, the cemetery scene from Steel Magnolias.

Also:

The scene when Rhett leaves Scarlett on the road from Atlanta in Gone With The Wind
The auction scene in North by Northwest
Final scene of Casablanca
When Garland sings "The Man Who Got Away" in A Star Is Born
When Chris gets the job in The Pursuit of Happyness

I could go on and on...

To Kill a Mockingbird: When Atticus leaves the courtroom after losing the case.

I was showing this film to a freshman English class once (though I was a music teacher - long story). I was so thankful to be quietly chatting with another teacher at the doorway while this scene was going on, as I cannot watch this part of the movie without tearing up.

YESS!!!! And just the other day I was talking with someone who has never seen a classic film in his life. When he asked for a bunch of suggestions, my brain totally froze on so many good ones. I wish I would have remembered to say this film!

Gone With the Wind, when Scarlett has just told Ashley she loves him and he's walked out, and Rhett stands up from behind the sofa...that whole scene. Particularly the throwing bit :D

Independence Day, when Will Smith's character is dragging the alien through the desert and yelling at it for smelling bad.

Elf, when Buddy the elf runs and jumps onto the Christmas tree to put the star up and it all falls over.

Lord of the Rings, The Two Towers, when Legolas says to Gimly, "Shall I describe it to you, or would you like me to find you a box?"

BBC's Pride and Prejudice when Mr. Darcy is coming back from the lake swim and surprises Elizabeth, whereby they both internally freak out.

Firefly's Serenity on the Miranda planet, when Jane says of River, "She's starting to damage my calm."

Fireproof, when the wife realizes that the husband gave his savings (i believe it was his boat i cant remember now) but after a failing marriage from his own sin, he spent his savings for a boat to get her ailing mother the life easing equipment to make her end days easier. Following The Love Dare book he let God lead him in saving his marriage. I love all the kendrick bros. movies!
