Hmm... First learn the first seven basic chords A, B, C, D, E, F, G... Then play lots of songs based only on the same seven. When you can play at least three songs properly, move on to the minors, learn them and play songs based on the keys and their minors. Once you are done, start picking random songs to play and whichever key you come across, learn it and play it. If you need more help, PM me! God bles

I want to learn playing on a guitar but its not going very well
I know how to play with tabs but chords are more difficult

The problem is not changing from one chord to another but when I pick a song I dont know how to play i.e. hit the strings down down up or down up down

I have a clasic guitar
BTW I started by learning the basic chords and their minors (A C D E G) now I am moving to the barre chords like F

You start with google. Look up chord charts. They will show you where to position your fingers to play certain chords. Start with basic chords like e, a, d, g, c. Practice switching, it will be hard and your fingers will hurt but after a while you will get used to it. Then you can move on to more complicated chords, like F (which sucks, by the way, in case you were wondering). There are also some youtube videos for beginners. :) that's how I learned.
