I'm staying home, and not answering the door. Fortunately no kids here anyways, so no one ever comes knocking. I don't celebrate Halloween. Mostly because i'm not a kid.. and i don't have kids. I don't like parties. And even if i did celebrate i'd avoid the 'evil' aspects of it, such as haunted houses, horror houses, slaughter fests and whatever other evil and or violent concept people think of based on fear, horror and violence. *party pooper =P

I don't see the point in celebrating halloween =/ When my son is old enough I'm still not going to. I was in the pagan world waaaaay too long and see too many hidden...well, not so hidden, things in halloween.

My kids and I usually go trick ur treating and they knock on doors and say ,"TRICK ER TREAT"..and when they recieve a candy they give the person a track telling them about Jesus. :)

Pretty sure God is just as strong on halloween as he is on every other night of the year. I see nothing to be concerned about.

Actually not true lol a lot of my costumes have been used multiple times.

By that logic I should never buy a wedding dress because hey I'll only be using it the once... actually that would save me a lot of money...

I do not celebrate it but have bought candy for the kids..i dunno if i will get candy because for one, the kids are so darn cute and i feel like the halloween scrouge by not having candy for one..but it is not really advocated and supported by my church..and i know they have their good reasons..so, i am torn if i buy candy this year or not.

I don't think that it is a satanic holiday until you practice satanic things on that day, but that still only applies to the individual. As a matter of fact, there are plenty of people to practice that stuff all year round. I'm sorry about what happened to your friends, by the way.
