John 21:25 Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.

I find myself wondering more about Adam and Eves complete lack of parenting skills when Cain murdered Abel.
Since they were adults at the time Cain slew Abel, maybe if you wondered more about why it is written in Genesis 4:8 that Cain talked with his brother than wondering about Adam and Eve's parenting skills then you might understand why it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

More specifically, why the earth had opened her mouth to receive Cain's brother's blood considering the Son of man would spend three days and three night in the heart of the earth, unless you believe that the heart of the earth is the place called Paradise.

Not sure how old Cain and abel were at the time? You just made an assumption. Cos you just dont talk to your brother and then kill them....
I dont think there is any harm in wondering what their childhood was like and how they were brought up.

often people say the child is father of the man...how can one brother hate on their own brother if they have the same parents?

Nowadays he would have his own series.....Diary of a son of God. Move over Diary of a wimpy kid...

This is why we keep prayer journals.

There is a difference between making an assumption and discernment.

Cos you just dont talk to your brother and then kill them....
Before being driven from the garden, Adam was told that cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; [Gen 3:17-19]

So do you think that that Cain and Abel would have taken over the responsibilities of their parents land or do you think they began to raise sheep and farm on their own land? However, in either case do you think they would have had it any easier than the conditions that Adam faced, which brings up the question regarding how Abel was able to fatten up his herd of sheep on thorns and thistles.?

how can one brother hate on their own brother if they have the same parents?
How could one brother refuse to feed his starving brother unless his brother agrees to give him everything he has to pay for the food?

Not implying anything here. Just saying....

The good book tells us about his birth. And then it jumps to an incident when he is 12 years old. Then it jumps all the way into his adulthood when he is about 30. What happened between all that?

Again, I'm not saying this necessarily should raise alarms or cause suspicion. I just find it a curious matter.

Anyone else ever wonder about this? Or is it just me? Cause to be honest, I probably do tend to wonder about certain things most people likely don't even care about. :p
Because the gospel books are already longer than most people will read. Just joking.
They are called the Gospels or good news, not the biographies. So only what is relevant to Who Jesus is and what he taught and how he fulfilled his ministry is what is written.
A full on life biography would be a very long book.
So just imagine how thick a Bible would be of it had four full life biographies of Jesus in it. It would have to be a series of books.
Then ya may as well have the full life bio of all the patriarchs and have the Bible be a whole library.

I've settled on the fact that we have all of what we need to know.

It can be irritating at times and almost feel like something is missing...but it doesn't cease to amaze me how there are plenty of things I've forgotten or not ever consciously had them revealed to me and when I get to those moments it is astounding how much more there is to know about what has been written.

The things that we dont know we actually need to ask God about. In time He will reveal to us.
I see the Bible as the essential word we need to know, everything else is extra, because otherwise it would be a much longer set of books that you would never finish....

Actually I wrote it as simple as it could be written, it is probably just to complicated for you to understand.

You inferred something but you didnt explain it very well.

are you saying cain was separated from Abel and they had their own lands and didnt talk to each other at first or something. Because theywere the only two sons at the time they had the entire world outside Eden as land.
Were they ALL driven from the garden or was it that Abel somehow got to keep some of Eden. Explain.

At one time I did but I realized that even what we do know we are prone to mess up. I can only imagine what mankind would do with the rest. If we found out, for example, that Jesus had a favourite camel coloured cloak, someone would declare that the only sanctioned colour for the faithful was camel. If we knew the style of his hair or what was his favourite lunch food then we'd make some sort of ritual out of that.
Like others have said, I think we are given what we need to know, rather than all there was. I think that this was necessary given human nature.

I always assumed, because he stood to read Isaiah 61 in the synagogue in Nazareth - this infers that he actually was a part of that synagogue, meaning he studied there, like all children in that time, he grew in the community, and was known well enough to read the scroll during service. These passages debunk the "Aquarian Gospels" and any other - Jesus was not an ordinary guy in Nazareth till he started his ministry conversations.

All Jewish boys had an education up until age 12 and attended the local synagogue. Those who were considered suitable continued to study for the Priesthood. This practice was started by a Rabbi about 100 years earlier I believe it was Maimonides but I,m not sure about that. Perhaps someone can enlighten me.

One had to be a "Member of the congregation to read the Torah
The Triennial Reading Tradition
In the earliest period, the readings were spread over approximately three and a half years, differing slightly from town to town. Also, synagogues did not have a single leader who preached every week, like a rabbi or pastor does today.
Instead, one adult member of the congregation (or an educated visitor) would be invited to read the Torah portion. He would then choose a prophetic passage that fit the Torah reading, and would give a brief meditation on how the passages relate to each other. The prophetic reading was called the haftarah (HAHF-tah-rah), meaning “completion.”
This is what we see Jesus doing in Luke 4:17-18 when stands up in his hometown synagogue and reads from the Isaiah scroll. Most likely Jesus also had read the Torah portion, but Luke doesn’t mention it.

Sometimes people want "more" scriptures, because they can not accept the existing scriptures as they are, they can not accept the absurdity of faith, they can not accept that man is limited, and God is limitless, and that he is showing us as simple as possible, the truth..some people can't handle the simple truth that we will never know all things
