I believe that, for all of us as followers of Jesus, we are called to love our neighbor as ourselves. This command in Scripture is tied closely with loving God with all of our heart, soul, mind an strength. I think we should strive to do this both individually and collectively as the church.

In your experience, who do you think loves and cares about you more, the world or the church?
the church, for sure.

In Matthew 22:34-40 Jesus summed up the law and the prophets in those two commands. People who obey the first commandment and love God with everything that is in them will automatically love their neighbor as themself.

The world takes because it’s run by selfish people who are influenced by Satan. (John 10:10) His mission and goals are clear. The spirit of the world steals, kills and destroys. Having said all this, I have to go with the church loving people more.

Jesus told the disciples that the world would hate them/ us. When it really comes down to it, the most important thing is that God loves us. I'm listening to a sermon on that topic right now as I prepare dinner.
