How do you picture Jesus Christ looking?
How do you picture God?

For me Jesus looks like he did in his paintings, becos that's what I've always seen and the image has sort of been drawn into my head.
As far as God, I picture him being everything and nothing. The stillness of the air when you forget to breathe, the breeze on a hot day, the sound of waves crashing on the beach.

What about you?

It is a natural men to try to perceive things they can't see with images they already know. For instance, Israel knew God, but they couldn't see him, but they could see gold, and so they made an image unto God. And it is idolatry.

Many people worship money as God, since they don't know the riches of God. And I will tell you the truth, those pictures of Jesus are idols, something they can look to to worship, even like the crosses people where on them. Or the bumper stickers. They wear crosses like good luck charms, and paint images of God whom they have not seen.

It is not good to engrave, neither in stone nor gold, nor silver, nor paper, nor in the mind, nor in the heart, ANY image unto God.

May Jesus bless you.
