So, are they accepting applications?

I'd do it, just so I could have access to the Vatican archives. There's probably a hundred lifetime's worth of reading stored up in there.

...I'd have to submit my stuff in Italian...that's not going to be easy. Hrmmm...

I agree. I visited a Catholic church about a month ago and the priest was super boring, so I would think a pope would be super, super boring :p

Its not a bad career move if you want to remain single. I think you need to be at least 60 before being considered and willing to work Sundays. You are also expected to walk around in Drag.

There are perks like ruling the worlds smallest Country, meeting all sorts of important people and having the worlds biggest fan club. Job security is another factor to consider. From a purely career perspective I can think of worse occupations

The pope is a power source.
And there are untold vast priceless treasures buried deep in those catacombs that are not open to the public.
It has been said that the Vatican is so rich, that it could stop being a religion and wouldn't skip a beat in the financial markets.

The pope may be a "power source".

But I guarantee that his power is no match for GOD'S power source..

All my spinach with Weetabix and a little sugar, too bitter if there's no sugar.
Sugar and spinach on Weetabix?

Really it's a waste of the spinach

The Roman Catholic church only has one pope, but the Protestant church has many!

Why is this you may ask, well because each individual Protestant church has one minister who exercises a one man ministry, all decisions having to go through them.

Simples!
