Not sure if they really are Christians...only God knows. Jesus always condemned the sin, but loved the sinner. I don't see this guy doing that.

Using that standard, we can state that "not sure anyone in the world is a Christian" yes? Ok.............
Rednecks don't bother me so much........I rather enjoy their not so redeeming qualities......God, Family, Country, Football! Honesty, hard work, live off the land and the sweat of their brow, only take what they need, and make sure they need what they take, as charitable as any other group I know of, and more so than most. Always first on the scene when a neighbor is in need, and always says what they think/believe. No need to wonder, they will tell you exactly.......No politically correct double speak.................Anyone who doubts this..........Google information concerning the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and see how these "rednecks" responded. Might do well to learn the percent of "rednecks" who willingly serve in our Military, and, as the majority of "rednecks" live in the Bible Belt.........well, that speaks for itself.

They call themselves Rednecks - so I can too. Where do you get that Rednecks a racist term? And sorry, I am intimately familiar with the south. And Rednecks are not bound by physical boundaries.

Also you didn't address the point about what Phil Robertson actually said. Here is his quote, and although he uses salty language, try and tell me how it differs from Scripture:
“It seems like, to me, a vagina—as a man—would be more desirable than a man’s anus. That’s just me. I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.”
Robertson described in the interview how sin is becoming acceptable in America and that the country needs to turn back to its Christian values. "Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men," Robertson told GQ. "Don't be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers-they won't inherit the kingdom of God. Don't deceive yourself. It's not right." The patriarch of the Robertson family said just putting one's faith in Jesus will help problems be solved.
"If you simply put your faith in Jesus coming down in flesh, through a human being, God becoming flesh living on the earth, dying on the cross for the sins of the world, being buried, and being raised from the dead-yours and mine and everybody else's problems will be solved. And the next time we see you, we will say: 'You are now a brother. Our brother.' So then we look at you totally different then," Robertson said.
"We never, ever judge someone on who's going to heaven, hell. That's the Almighty's job," Robertson told GQ. "We just love 'em, give 'em the good news about Jesus - whether they're homosexuals, drunks, terrorists. We let God sort 'em out later."
Please tell me where he's wrong?

You should learn the meaning of words before using them. 'Racist' means to hold a persons born race (black, asian, etc..) against them and to think less of them. A redneck is an American cultural concept that, while predominantly white, it has nothing to do with their born race. It is a choice of a lifestyle.
You're so quick to condemn her when not one single accusation you leveled against her is anywhere in her post. And, to top it, you are using words you have no idea what they mean. What does that say about YOUR heart? Shame on you for looking for offenses that aren't there and using words you clearly do not understand in an attempt to put someone down.

Yes. I have. One of the defining elements of being a redneck is country music. How about a few well known black country music singers? Darius Rucker, Cowboy Troy, Charley Pride, Big Al Downing, and Cleve Francis. The first black country singer was DeFord Bailey in 1928. That was one search result just on black country singers. Wonder how much more i could come up with if i actually put any effort into the search. So no, redneck is not a racist term. Just because a sub-culture is dominated by a certain race does not mean you are making attacks against the predominate race, you're making an attack against the culture that people are choosing to act on. I don't like redneck culture. Not because i hate white people, i am white, but because the culture itself. The attitude, the music, the look, the mentality, etc.. Quit trying to manipulate words and change peoples intentions to suit your attacks. This is weakness. You are so busy trying to justify your attacks you look desperate to change things into what you need them to mean. Because if you didn't do this you'd realize you have no basis for what you're saying and couldn't troll.
I watched to. It was SOOOO good, I am so glad that this whole "controversy" happened because if it hadn't, I would never had seen the show. It's so nice to see a Christian family on TV who are able to proud of who they are and are not mocked or made fun of (as with everything else on TV). It's really SUCH a great show, about so much more than ducks! I am DVRing as fast as I can, some of these episodes are hilarious. Perhaps what I like the MOST is that on this show the men are men and the women are women! No blurring, its the best!
