I get a PM this morning from a person who joined here about 11 days ago...

I got the same PM... I'm new here and just figured he was friendly/"sent by God" for some real help. I told this troll my problems and this was his response:

God instructed me to reply this ..
to you to that which you have said to me.

whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath,
he cannot be my disciple.

If any man come to me,
and hate not his father, and mother,
and wife, and children,
and brethren, and sisters,
yea,
and his own life also,
he cannot be my disciple.

You are in a very good position
to become a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ.

With everything gone and you hating your own life...
this should be easy for you.


This was about the last thing I needed to hear and it left me confused till I read this forum... Now I feel like this "truthgracefaith" guy is a satanist and is going to further curse me knowing some of my problems...

Oh come on. Even if he was who cares? An ungrounded curse can do nothing, it's like a bird that flies away. Guess he was either a troll or a religious nutcase giving hallway prophecies.

The problem is that anyone can distort the truths in Gods word.
As a teen I remember being told not to just randomly pick at the bible, but to
really get into it.

The following anecdote was told.

A person randomly stuck their finger in the bible and got

Matthew 27:5 NKJV
[5] Then he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed,
and went and hanged himself.

He did not like the sound of that so opened the bible again stuck his finger
on a page and got



Luke 10:37 NKJV
[37] "Go and do likewise."




The moral of the story, anyone can quote bible verses, even the devil.

People are out to cause real harm, and vulnerable people can fall for it.
If someone I don't know sends me a PM I always look back at their
history to see who they are, you would not let any stranger into your house
just because they knock on your door. The same rules should apply on social
media websites.
