But Christ Lives In Me,

So says Paul as he is explaining our new creation in Christ.
The life we now live, we live by faith in the Son. So it is by
Grace that we receive this acceptance. It is not something
we can earn, but it is something that we need to absorb in
our hearts. These are not rules and regulations written on
some lines and we say, yay I am holy since we cannot be
righteous by rules and laws, rather by the death of Christ on
the cross. We grow in His love only by love and obedience
to the two commandments of Christ. If we know little else
in scripture, we need to be filled in His graces and then love
one another. So in the beginning, we need to know that God
really loves us. That means that if we do not love the ones
who can see, how can we love the God who we cannot see.
That is what scripture says. But that love is not a token love,
it is a love of the heart for all, for if we shun one, we shun all.
John was the beloved disciple. This he wrote because he was
filled with the love of Christ. He understood that it wasn't just
a word but that it was an action word. So as much as a mother
loves a child, we should love one another.
