I think of all the times in His word He mentions that our groans are heard. Just heard Joseph Prince preach on this. Our deepest cries are our best prayer. Yesterday I was so upset reading about isis destroying nineveh I yelled out to God in broken hearted tears over the loss, over so much loss to the Christian nation. YOU ARE YOU OUR DREAD WARRIOR! Where are you in all this? Where is our dread warrior? Why do you allow your people to be massacred? Why are you silent Lord WHY? I think he hears our groans and our cries almost more than our daily Lords prayer. I instantly felt ashamed, how dare I question the will of our Holy and Just God when I know He gave us free will and I know that He is as heart broken as I over what some choose to do with their free will. Please pray protection. Please also pray for my heart to be right as I come before God. There's no way I should be shouting out to God demanding our dread warrior. Submitting to His sovereign will is sometimes so very difficult. I'm so thankful that Christ intercepts my prayers and He knows that my heart is crying out in defense of Him. I suppose what I'm trying to say is no matter how imperfect our prayer, our righteousness is in Christ alone and He knew us before we were formed in our mothers womb. Nothing we say to Him will surprise Him. I normally try not to yell at him though and spend most of my time in prayerful thanksgiving. Just talk to God like you'd want your son to talk to you & throw in a few theee's and thou's. (totally kidding) thought I had to lighten up this post a little.

God bless you. Not to divert the thread but here is a link to the news I read yesterday for any who havent heard and are interested.

“Cast not away your confidence because God defers his performances. That which does not come in your time, will be hastened in his time, which is always the more convenient season. God will work when he pleases, how he pleases, and by what means he pleases. He is not bound to keep our time, but he will perform his word, honour our faith, and reward them that diligently seek him.” ~ Matthew Henry

I pray/talk to God 24/7....I mean that I'm in constant communication with Him....He's my Best Friend and the first 'person' I turn to for everything......I see no point in having a scheduled prayer session, mainly because I think it's rude towards God to set a time limit when God is right here beside me. However, a group meeting up to pray at any scheduled time is good :)

The perfect example of prayer is found in Matthew 6, specifically verses 5-15, the Lord's Prayer. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+6&version=ESV

I find that it's a good starting point. Then if there is more(and there always is) that I want to pray about, I try to pray simply and honestly and just let it be as organic as I can, keeping in mind that I'm supposed to be talking with God, not at Him. Often I pray for focus while I'm praying, because I'm highly distra- SQUIRREL!
One of the funniest posts I've seen in ages. LOL

yes, satan hates us to pray to our Saviour, and will try his best to distract us in any way that
he can come up with, and it is usually in a mocking manner, for this is his whole life, mocking
the One who created him...

don't fret, if your prayers are heart-felt and sincere, Jesus will always here and respond,
this is a given...

Always pray with confidence without fear. Open up your heart more if you sense a strange evil presence while your praying than it is an evil monitoring spirit you must pray against that...u can start off with praying with your favorite youtube pastor or just look up prayer links on youtube etc each night for about a week and overtime u going to start to pray on your own that's how i did it when i felt uneasy and stress out!!!
