I will NOT compromise or change

Funny when you follow God fully how not only you change but everything around you changes. God gets rid of the old and comes in with the new. He rids you of your sorrows, changes your heart, opens your eyes and show you what you've been missing. There was a time I thought having a man in my life was so important, where I thought it was what was needed. Even now that I am a single Mama I figured man I really need a man in my life not for me but for my son. God is slowly starting to show me different. He is starting to say hey just work on you and I will bring you someone amazing. I tend to get impatient and think man God when. when?? I got confirmation today that one guy i was interested in was not up for my idea of love. I refuse to compromise for anyone. I made up my mind NOT to have sex until marriage. I already made the mistake once and am a single mom and i will not not not do it again. I told him this and he said he needs to think. That was confirmation enough for me. If someone has to think about that then they must not truly love me. I am truly at a loss for words here. He said he loved me and yet he has to think about if he can wait until marriage to have me. I don't take that lightly. If you say you love someone you except them for who they are, right?

Obviously My choice in a guy wasn't good. I guess I should of waited for God to place a man in my life. Instead I was selfish and chose for myself. Look how well that worked out. Not so well. Man. I am not sure what to do here. I guess pray to God about it. huh?

He'll sort it out He's probably in shock. What you have said to him is rare and if he loves you he will receive you for better or worse till death do you part. Dont write him off yet, wait for it to settle in. God bless you & prepare the one for you who HE desires. Perhaps its this very guy... Dont be discouraged. The Lord is well pleased.

Yeah, i talked to him last night right after I posted this and said well if you have to think about this then you must not love me and I said either you can accept it and be with more or don't and break it off with me. He said it wasn't a deal breaker, so i guess he is okay with it, but then today he hasn't said one word to me. so idk what is going on through his head. All I can do on my end is pray to God that his will be done in this situation. I love this guy but I am not going to change my values or beliefs for anyone. I truly want God to have his way and let him take control over this because if this guy isn't for me then I don't want to be with him. Right now I am just gunna pray and give him space. I don't want to sufficate him with all of this, besides i need time with God about all this. It hurts, but I know God knows what is best for me.
