Today I was having a chat conversation with someone, and they used the word 'idoyd'. then they wouldn't tell me what it means. I looked it up, but google didn't seem to know. Is it a word? or one of them new fancy acronyms the kids use on the cell phone texting each other back and forth?

Anyone know?

IDOYD= It depends on your definition.

Paraphrase= There is a variety of possibilities to the answer to your question depending on what you meant by what you said.

Also used as a decoy to avoid answering said question, or in some cases a sneaky or playful attempt at getting others to change the subject or make a conversational mess by digging deeper into the subject or straying onto tangent thoughts.

Get with the times, man :D

haha this acronym is mainly used by online gamers so it doesn't surprise me that not everyone would know what it stands for unless told by a fellow gamer or well yeah google. lol
