should the last day be any different than normal?

if so, why?
if not, does it matter?

If you suddenly find out it's the last day on earth, are you going to sort through all your list of choices at the last minute, or just draw some from a hat, or do plan on picking the best ones ahead of time and putting them into some kind of diagram?

You really should choose a methodology... you don't want things going all willy nilly at the last moment.
picky, picky

:)

If this ever comes true in our lifetimes........some will be shouting for joy and others will be crying out for the mountains to fall on them to hide them...........rest is just conjecture

right?

I would say goodbye to all of my family and friends and tell them how much they mean to me and how much I love them.

lie myself down inside the coffin waiting to die (if I can't get rid of the thought that I'm going to die quickly, it's pointless to behave as if we are in denial, lying in a coffin is probably the best way to face this death as peacefully as possible)

to prevent any hunger pains, swallow as many fruity flavored indigestible gums, so that I won't be able to feel any sensation of having an empty stomach

so we can help reduce the painful process of dying:unsure:

:sneaky: if we want to make this death bed meaningful, when someone comes near your coffin, assuming that someone's heart is sufficiently softened by God, even if that someone isn't saved yet. Witness, lead them to Christ, have them pray the prayer of salvation, have God confirm that, and say something like "I can finally be at peace, knowing that you are finally saved at last" then rest in peace, and that should hopefully make a huge impact on the newly born again Christian, that was saved through your death bed witnessing

--> if the OP means "being raptures", first, learn to not have any fear of heights if possible, learn to keep your physical eyes above and resist the temptation to look down.

What would you do?

I have never been able to answer this question for myself. Maybe I can garner some insight by posting it here?

Thanks for reading. :)
I'd go for a final walk down by the beach whilst listening to music and pretending that I'm part of some poignant moment in a film. Then I'd go home, make a huge chilli con carne and invite loved ones over to break the news and eat chilli. Then I'd put one of Johnny Cash' gospel albums on, drink a black coffee and wait.

Assuming you're talking about dying and not rocketing off to another planet,

I would relax and enjoy the ride knowing that God has everything under control. Probably I would spend it in meditation and prayer and communicating to anyone around me the confidence I have in my Savior and God. Some doctors have been saved by observing how peacefully Christians die.

Very though provoking, Candie. Too many things rush to my mind but may be the priority would be spending time with my family, praising, worshipping and thanking God.
