Check this out.....

Dear Society,
If you think a woman in a tan vinyl bra and underwear, grabbing her crotch and grinding up on a dance partner is raunchy, trashy, and offensive but you don’t think her dance partner is raunchy, trashy, or offensive as he sings a song about “blurred” lines of consent and propagating rape culture, then you may want to reevaluate your acceptance of double standards and your belief in stereotypes about how men vs. women “should” and are “allowed” to behave.

Sincerely,
Dr. Jill

Have a great one:)

Very well said. Yes, Miley Cyrus' behavior was horrendous, but so was Robin Thicke's.

With that said, who watches the VMAs other than non-believers who live in their own debauchery and sin-filled lives? I wish we could hold the standards of moral Christian behavior to the world, but unfortunately, that boat has sailed. We can't expect non-believers to hold the same standards we do. All we can do is turn it off. And I trust every Christian who may have had it on for any reason did just that.

Not really something to post on a christian website.

The link lead to what I can only describe as PORN and not, as I expected, to a serious article.
I don't care about the MTW Awards and don't want to be confronted with that rubbish.

Miley's "performance" was probably so distracting that I bet precious few people even noticed what the song was about.

There are unfair takes on men towards women. But there are also unfair takes women make about men. Wish you'd all just drop the gender arguing crap and acting like your gender is a victim to the other and recognize both genders have wrong attitudes about the other and stop playing gender martyrs.

Explain. You put a lot of generalizations but nothing specific. I would like to know where you are coming from. Maybe we can meet in the middle and understand where each others viewpoints are.

Sorry for the offense. Maybe we can get the posts with the words "whore", "stripper" and whatever else edited as well...since, they personally offend me. Thanks for your input. I didnt realize that picture was "porn"

Given there were back up dancers, producers, managers, song writers, and much much more involved... Most people are aware of this, however...

Its like having a dinner, if the steak is burnt over seasoned and dry as a bone, you would complain about that before you said 'And even the peas tasted bad'.

If posts with such words (like the ones you yourself mentioned just now) offend you,
you should indeed request to have them edited.
