So, Im here. I am struggling with God. I dont get who he is...I dont see him..In the name of christ the english came to what is now the US and killed Native americans...slaved Africans through the dutch trade, killed many, and brought them here...to be slaves. There is a system in america set up....I feel maybe that is too much to go into for this bulleton.

Anyway, everyday I see drunks and homeless, I see divison of classes, I see hurt....I see christians that ignore this. walk away...who even smoke their cigarettes and scolf. many wont even ride the bus. Too good mentality.

I have converstions with people who think Im crazy for being in ATl....who wonder why I want to hang out with the homeless...ever...or the marganilized.....those who Jesus loves....also

I have friends who say they have a gay friend....and call them a pervert in the same sentence......honestly, I think many of these verses are mis-interpreted and really-Regardgless of right and wrong...Love is forgotten. True and genuine.

I hope you can understand. I just want to explain where I am at....who I am...take it or leave it. If you want me to go into it more, let me know.

April, Im so sorry you are feeling this way. I often wonder about what you have shared. One thing that has helped was Jesus said, keep your eyes on me. I believe he said this because of the sin and sadness in the world. The beauty of this is when I hope in him I can see the grace of God. God our father said it is in our failiers that he is glorified. He knew we would always be sinners. Even on our best days. That is why Jesus gave his life for us and rose from the dead. His sacrifice and grace are what save us. I know it will be hard to see good in the world sometimes but if I have learned anything it is not about what happens it is what we do with it. In the worst of situations I have also see the greatest love and compassion. In this is Gods glory. God bless, pickles
