Are some children really born damned? Is there really no free will or age of accountability? Did Jesus not say "Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Christian Standard Bible Jesus, however, invited them: "Let the little children come to me, and don't stop them, because the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." luke 18:16 Why would he say such a thing if their state of salvation has already been determined them being able to decide whether or not to accept him. Please answer enquiring minds want to know!

"Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body. 26"In your anger do not sin": Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27and do not give the devil a foothold." Ephesians 4:25-27

What is a cult? From the Christian Research Institute

First, a cult may be defined sociologically. From this perspective, a cult is a religious or semi-religious sect whose followers are controlled by strong leadership in virtually every dimension of their lives. Devotees characteristically display a displaced loyalty for the guru and the group and are galvanized together through physical and/or psychological intimidation tactics. This kind of cultist more often than not displays a “we/they” siege mentality and has been cut off from all former associations including their immediate families.

Furthermore, a cult may be defined theologically. In this sense a cult can be a pseudo-Christian organization that claims to be Christian but compromises, confuses, or contradicts essential Christian doctrine. Such cults operate under the guise of Christianity but deviate from the orthodox teachings of the historic Christian faith as codified in the ancient ecumenical creeds. Typically, devotees become masters at taking texts out of context to develop pretexts for their theological perversions.

Dr. Walter Martin (author of 'Kingdom of the Cults') was my Sunday School teacher from 1980-84.

“But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived
by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be
led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ.
For if someone comes to you and preaches a
Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive
a different spirit from the one you received,
or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put
up with it easily enough.”

There are many scriptures that deal with this and I have always said there is a BALANCE to be struck.....If we notice the following truths and are honest with them we can grasp the balance that is given.....

a. God would have ALL men be saved and come to the Knowledge of the truth
b. Jesus paid for the sins of the whole world
c. Both nature and the invisible testifies of God so men are without excuse
d. The WICKED go astray from the womb
e. Christ is the savior of ALL MEN, especially those that BELIEVE
f. MANY are called, but FEW chosen <--note does not say ALL
g. The saved have been saved from the foundation of the world
h. David said he would go to and see his week old son that had taken his place in death (David speaks of his salvation)
i. MEN must acknowledge JESUS by faith to be saved
J. Greater is the number of LOST then saved
K. Those that GOD foreknows HE CALLS and JUSTIFIES IF they acknowledge <--SEE F

Many other scriptures.....

My view.....Salvation is open to all....God will only save those that will believe......God is under no obligation to call one that will not believe...God knows the end from the beginning and the beginning fro the end and KNOWS who will believe and who will not....he calls accordingly.....

NOW as far as predestination.....DOES GOD SAY MAN A will be saved and MAN B is outta luck....I do not believe that......HOWEVER.....GOD predestined BEFORE he cast down the world that ALL WHO WILL come to HIM through HIS SON by FAITH will be believed and SAVED.....

That is the short end of the stick

Are some children really born damned?
God has not elected some for damnation. Neither has He elected some for salvation.

As to infants and little children, they are already accepted into the Kingdom of God by His grace, since they cannot possible understand or respond to the Gospel.

The zeal with which Calvinists fight for their false gospel certainly borders on the cultish programming and brainwashing that takes place in cults. The same Scriptures are perverted over and over again.
