Is the God of the Old Testament really Satan? No. That's some dangerous thinking, OP. I believe God is far greater than anything and that Satan is but a fly on the wall compared to Him who made us. God's Word is God-breathed and therefore pure and holy. Complex and confusing at times and somewhat contradictory (to our human way of reasoning) but all the same, His Word is infallible. He wouldn't let such lies inhabit His Truth. God preserves His Word. Greater is He that is in you than he who is in the world.
